Publication Ethics
Growth: Journal of Management and Business is committed to maintaining integrity and transparency throughout the scholarly publication process. This policy is developed in accordance with the guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and applies to all parties involved in the publication process, including authors, editors, reviewers, and the publisher.
Authors’ Responsibilities
Originality and Plagiarism: Authors must ensure that the submitted work is original and free from plagiarism. All sources used must be properly cited.
Multiple or Redundant Publication: Authors are not allowed to submit the same manuscript to more than one journal simultaneously or to republish previously published work without clear justification.
Acknowledgement of Sources: Authors must give appropriate credit to all individuals or institutions that have made a significant contribution to the research or manuscript preparation.
Conflict of Interest: Authors must disclose any potential conflicts of interest that could influence the interpretation of research findings.
Research Ethics: Research involving human or animal subjects must comply with ethical standards and obtain approval from the relevant ethics committee.
Editors’ Responsibilities
Publication Decisions: Editors are responsible for deciding which submissions are suitable for publication based on their scientific quality and relevance.
Fairness: Editors must evaluate manuscripts objectively, without discrimination based on authors’ race, gender, sexual orientation, religious beliefs, ethnic background, nationality, or political views.
Confidentiality: Editors must maintain the confidentiality of all submitted manuscripts and must not disclose any information to unauthorized parties.
Conflict of Interest: Editors must avoid conflicts of interest and disclose any potential conflicts that may influence editorial decisions.
Reviewers’ Responsibilities
Contribution to Editorial Decisions: Reviewers assist editors in making informed editorial decisions and help authors improve the quality of their manuscripts.
Confidentiality: Reviewers must treat all manuscripts assigned for review as confidential documents and must not share any information with third parties.
Objectivity Standards: Reviewers must provide objective, constructive, and evidence-based feedback, avoiding any form of personal criticism.
Acknowledgement of Sources: Reviewers should identify relevant literature that has not been cited by the authors and report any substantial similarities between the manuscript under review and other published works.
Conflict of Interest: Reviewers must decline the review assignment if they have any conflicts of interest that may compromise their judgement.
Publisher’s Responsibilities
The publisher is responsible for ensuring that the publication process proceeds with integrity and transparency, and for supporting editors and reviewers in carrying out their duties in accordance with applicable ethical guidelines.
