This community engagement program examined short term observed changes after an integrated financial and digital literacy intervention at State Junior High School 43 Central Maluku. Life skills were operationalized as financial decision-making and self-control, digital safety, and critical judgment. Twenty seven participating students joined a single day, practice based program that combined concise instruction, everyday case discussion, pocket-money and digital risk simulations, guided exercises, reflection, pretest-posttest assessment, and structured observation. The same six domain competency blueprint and scoring framework were used before and after the program. Quantitative results were analyzed descriptively and qualitative evidence was organized using predefined competency categories. The mean score increased from 53.78 (range 40-72) to 83.56 (range 72-96), an absolute gain of 29.78 points; the observed score span narrowed from 32 to 24 points. Indicator level and activity based evidence also showed stronger performance in budgeting and saving, personal data protection, digital risk recognition, and responsible digital media use. Because the evaluation used one group without a comparison group or longer follow-up, the findings are interpreted as short term observed improvement rather than causal or sustained behavioral effects.
Martha Racwel Patty, Hansen Hein Rumtutuly, Johanis Darwin Borolla, Semuel Souhoka Copyright (c) 2026 Martha Racwel Patty, Hansen Hein Rumtutuly, Johanis Darwin Borolla, Semuel Souhoka https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://jurnal.lenteranusa.id/index.php/lp/article/view/1610 Tue, 13 Oct 2026 00:00:00 +0000 Revitalization of School Library Management and Services Thru Collection Organization, Administrative Digitalization, and User Education at SMP Negeri 7 Batu https://jurnal.lenteranusa.id/index.php/lp/article/view/1539
School libraries play an important role as learning-resource centers; however, their effectiveness depends on integrated management, accessible collections, standardized services, and user engagement. Initial assessment at Lentera Senju Library, SMP Negeri 7 Batu, identified several service-readiness problems, including unstructured spatial organization, inconsistent collection management, manual administrative recording, absence of written borrowing procedures, and limited user orientation. This community engagement program aimed to strengthen school library service readiness through an integrated governance intervention consisting of physical arrangement, collection processing, administrative digitalization, service standardization, and user education. The program was implemented using a participatory approach involving school stakeholders from 8–29 July 2026 and evaluated descriptively based on documented outputs, functional testing, and partner responses. The intervention resulted in improved spatial organization, systematically processed target collections, digital administrative tools accessible to library managers, standardized borrowing information, and increased student understanding of library procedures. The program demonstrates that strengthening school library services requires simultaneous improvement of infrastructure, management systems, and user capacity. This approach provides a practical model for schools seeking to improve operational readiness with limited resources.
Moch. This community service program introduced an Android-based application to digitize Posyandu services, with the aim of helping health cadres record data, speeding up reporting, and improving the management of health information. Twenty participants took part, consisting of Posyandu cadres, a village midwife, and parents of young children. The program comprised a needs assessment, socialization, two days of hands-on training, eight months of field mentoring delivered in eight monthly sessions, and an evaluation based on a pre-test, a post-test, and a satisfaction questionnaire. The mean participant score rose from 33 on the pre-test to 90 on the post-test. With the application, cadres were able to record maternal and child data more quickly and consistently, and monthly reports became easier to compile. Participants rated the program highly, with mean scores of 4.6 to 4.9 on a five-point scale for the relevance of the material, ease of use, quality of mentoring, and overall benefit. The Android application supported the digital transformation of Posyandu services by strengthening cadre capacity and bringing more order to health data management, which in turn can support the quality of primary health services in Bahagia Village, Bekasi.
Nurul Aisyah, Eneng Iviq, Ani yoraeni Copyright (c) 2026 Nurul Aisyah, Eneng Iviq, Ani yoraeni https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://jurnal.lenteranusa.id/index.php/lp/article/view/1354 Tue, 13 Oct 2026 00:00:00 +0000 Social Media Roles in Local Television: Education, Information, and Digital Marketing at JTV Malang https://jurnal.lenteranusa.id/index.php/lp/article/view/1622
Digital technology has changed how people consume information, including the way local television stations reach their audiences. JTV Malang, one of the local television stations serving Greater Malang, has turned to social media to support its conventional broadcasting function. This study describes the role of JTV Malang's social media as a means of education, information, and marketing in the digital era. Conducted during an internship (Praktik Kerja Lapangan) at JTV Malang, the study uses a descriptive qualitative approach, drawing on observation of social media content and interviews with members of the station's editorial and social media team. Data were analyzed through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing, and the findings were compared against earlier studies on similar themes. The results show that JTV Malang's social media performs three interlocking roles: an educational role carried through informative and instructive content, an informational role carried through timely news coverage of Greater Malang, and a digital marketing role that widens audience reach and strengthens JTV Malang's brand image amid growing competition among digital media outlets. The study is intended to serve as material for evaluating and refining JTV Malang's social media management going forward.
Nurul Hidayati, Anisa Nur Hasanah, Lailatul Qudsyyah, Putri Zahrotul Faidah, Ismi Iftikad Copyright (c) 2026 Nurul Hidayati, Anisa Nur Hasanah, Lailatul Qudsyyah, Putri Zahrotul Faidah, Ismi Iftikad https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://jurnal.lenteranusa.id/index.php/lp/article/view/1622 Thu, 15 Oct 2026 00:00:00 +0000 Transfer Teknologi Ecoprint Berbasis Kearifan Lokal untuk Penguatan Ekonomi Kreatif Desa Wisata Nyarai Pascabencana https://jurnal.lenteranusa.id/index.php/lp/article/view/1577
PPATK (2024) recorded online gambling transactions totaling IDR 359.8 trillion involving 16.38 million active players, yet community-based psychological education on the issue remains scarce. This community service study assessed how effectively a multidisciplinary interactive webinar improved adolescents' understanding of, and psychological resilience to, the effects of online gambling. The webinar was delivered via Zoom on 28 June 2025 to members of Angkatan Muda Muhammadiyah (AMM) and the general public aged 15–24, with Dr. dr. H. Kusbaryanto, M.Kes., FISPH., FISCM. as the mental health speaker and Desy Eliana as panelist. Understanding was measured with a pre-test and post-test administered through Google Forms. Attendance reached 85% of the target, and mean comprehension scores rose by 42% after the webinar, in line with Hartono and Cahyati (2022), who reported similar gains in a comparable psychoeducation program. Participants were able to identify the DSM-5 criteria for gambling disorder, its neuropsychological consequences, and evidence-based prevention strategies. The findings suggest that a multidisciplinary webinar is an effective and replicable model for community intervention.
Amalina Nur Arifah, Desy Eliana, Ruri Trisasri, Fauzia Liesly Anindya, Awaludin Awaludin Copyright (c) 2026 Amalina Nur Arifah, Desy Eliana, Ruri Trisasri, Fauzia Liesly Anindya, Awaludin Awaludin https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://jurnal.lenteranusa.id/index.php/lp/article/view/1494 Tue, 13 Oct 2026 00:00:00 +0000 Introducing Coding and Artificial Intelligence to Enhance Teacher Readiness at SDN Cibuntu 01 https://jurnal.lenteranusa.id/index.php/lp/article/view/1334
Rapid technological advances associated with the Fourth Industrial Revolution have heightened the need to cultivate digital literacy from the earliest stages of formal education. Coding and artificial intelligence (AI) are increasingly recognised as essential twenty-first-century competencies, making teachers’ capacity to incorporate these technologies into instruction particularly important. At SDN Cibuntu 01 in Bekasi Regency, an initial assessment identified substantial readiness gaps: approximately 80% of participating teachers lacked a sufficient grasp of fundamental coding and AI concepts, while 90% had no prior experience using visual coding platforms or AI-supported educational tools. This community engagement programme sought to strengthen teachers’ conceptual understanding, confidence, and pedagogical readiness to integrate coding and AI into classroom learning. It combined interactive training and workshops featuring unplugged activities with guided demonstrations of accessible AI tools. Post-test scores exceeded pre-test scores across all assessed dimensions. Participants also prepared draft lesson plans incorporating computational thinking, while the programme produced a practical guide entitled “Introduction to Coding and Artificial Intelligence for Elementary School Teachers” to support continued implementation. These findings indicate that combining unplugged learning with accessible AI tools can strengthen teachers’ initial readiness for technology-enhanced instruction and generate practical resources that may be adapted by elementary schools facing similar circumstances.
Dea Andini Andriati, Tri Nur Arifin, Uus Rusmawan Copyright (c) 2026 Dea Andini Andriati, Tri Nur Arifin, Uus Rusmawan https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://jurnal.lenteranusa.id/index.php/lp/article/view/1334 Fri, 16 Oct 2026 00:00:00 +0000
