In the ever-evolving digital era, digital skills readiness is a crucial issue for industry, especially in facing the industrial revolution 4.0. This study aims to explore the relationship between these two factors and digital skills readiness, which include technical, information, and collaboration skills. The method used is quantitative research with a sample of respondents working in the manufacturing sector. The results of the analysis show that Digital Literacy Training has a significant positive impact on Digital Skills Readiness, while Access to Digital Tools and Resources also contributes to improving employees' digital skills. However, the role of Self-Efficacy In Digital Tasks as a mediator shows insignificant results in this relationship. These findings emphasize the importance of investing in Digital Literacy Training to improve the digital skills of the workforce. From a practical perspective, this study provides clear guidance for HR managers and policymakers to prioritize structured training programs and equitable access to digital tools, while not overly relying on self-efficacy assumptions, in order to strengthen workforce preparedness. This study is expected to provide insight for companies and policy makers in designing effective digital skills development strategies, so that they can support innovation and competitiveness of the manufacturing industry in Indonesia.
Raissa Susilo Maharani, Nadilah Sintia Sari Copyright (c) 2025 Talent: Journal of Economics and Business https://jurnal.lenteranusa.id/index.php/JEB/article/view/1079 Tue, 30 Dec 2025 00:00:00 +0000 Digital Transformation Strategy and Learning Development Initiatives for Workforce Agility in Manufacturing Companies : The Mediation Role of Organizational Support https://jurnal.lenteranusa.id/index.php/JEB/article/view/1086
This study aims to analyze the influence of digital transformation strategy and learning & development initiatives on workforce agility by considering the mediating role of organizational support in the manufacturing sector. In the competitive era of globalization, Organizational Trust is a key element of corporate success. This research is based on the phenomenon of low employee trust in companies, even though the electronics sector shows high potential in the economy. Data was collected through questionnaires distributed to 198 employees who had worked for at least one year. Data analysis was carried out using the Partial Least Squares (PLS) method using SmartPLS. The results of the study show that Ethical Leadership has a significant positive effect on Organizational Trust. Ethical leaders are able to create a work environment that supports trust, especially among young employees with high levels of education. In addition, Transparent Decision-Making Processes have also been shown to contribute positively to Organizational Trust, with transparency in decision-making increasing procedural fairness and two-way communication. Communication Openness functions as a mediator that strengthens the relationship between the two independent variables and Organizational Trust . This research provides important insights for leaders and policy makers in the electronics sector to increase organizational trust, which in turn can drive innovation and productivity. These findings also enrich the literature on the dynamics of ethical leadership and transparency in a corporate context, and emphasize the importance of open communication in building trust in a dynamic work environment.
Cindy Apriyanih, Diah Ayu Syahrani Putri Copyright (c) 2025 Talent: Journal of Economics and Business https://jurnal.lenteranusa.id/index.php/JEB/article/view/1085 Tue, 30 Dec 2025 00:00:00 +0000 Determinants of Employee Retention : The Roles of Career Development, Engagement, and Organizational Culture https://jurnal.lenteranusa.id/index.php/JEB/article/view/1087
This study aims to determine the extent to which Career Development Strategy, Employee Engagement, and Organizational Culture influence Employee Retention at PT. Cipta Mandiri Wirasakti, while also highlighting the study’s theoretical relevance in explaining how human resource practices reinforce employee commitment within the framework of social exchange dynamics. Using a descriptive quantitative method and a sample of 80 employees, the data were analyzed with SPSS 26. This methodological approach not only provides statistical evidence but also strengthens the practical applicability of the findings for HR decision-making in manufacturing settings. The results revealed that all three variables have a positive and significant effect on employee retention: Career Development Strategy, Employee Engagement, and Organizational Culture. Beyond statistical confirmation, these results contribute to existing literature by demonstrating that the integration of development opportunities, psychological engagement, and cultural alignment forms a synergistic retention mechanism in industrial workplaces. These findings indicate that a strong combination of clear career growth opportunities, active employee involvement, and a positive organizational culture contributes significantly to retaining employees. When employees feel valued, engaged, and supported in a growth-oriented work environment, their commitment to the company increases, leading to longer tenure and reduced turnover, thereby offering practical insights for organizations seeking evidence-based strategies to minimize attrition and strengthen workforce stability.
Tiara Tiara, Sinta Sundari Heriyanti Copyright (c) 2025 Talent: Journal of Economics and Business https://jurnal.lenteranusa.id/index.php/JEB/article/view/1087 Tue, 30 Dec 2025 00:00:00 +0000 Marketing Mix in Local Market Dynamics: Examining the Impact on Consumer Purchase Decisions at Sinar Bahagia in East Lombok https://jurnal.lenteranusa.id/index.php/JEB/article/view/1088
The development of the business world in the digital era requires companies to implement effective marketing strategies to attract and retain customer loyalty.
